Xena has somehow managed to gain her way back to 15.8 pounds, but she's still looking great and is obviously full of energy. Velvet is cruising along at 11 pounds, which seems to be just right for her.
I think the most striking difference in her appearance is still her coat. See how much less sleek she looked at the beginning:
One positive side-effect of having a scale in my house to weigh the cats is that I've lost weight since I put them on the Nulo plan. I'm down about seven pounds from when we started. If I can do it, Xena can do it. Maybe I should put her on a leash and take her on my hour-long walks in the morning. (Ha!)
This is the cats' sixth week on the program, which puts them at about the half-way point. I'm going to start trying to get them to play more to see if that will make a difference in their weight. They're already pretty playful on their own, but we'll find out if a string on a stick can amp things up a bit.
