I've stolen this from Doola, who is getting married to MLE tomorrow. Congratulations to both of you!
Here are the rules of the meme:
* Pick 15 of your favorite movies.
* Go to IMDB and find a quote from each movie.
* Post them on your blog for everyone to guess.
* Fill in the film title once it’s been guessed.
These are the rules, people!
* Leave guesses in the comments.
* No Googling or using IMDB search functions. Don’t cheat, suckas!
* Know-it-alls, limit your guesses to three movies. Save some for others!
- "She doesn't get eaten by the eels at this time." (The Princess Bride - KC Perky, who mentioned the correct answer in person, not via comment)
- "Wow, you've turned into a right sexy wee bastard. Do you know that?" (So I Married An Axe Murderer - Chimpo)
- "Get that cat outta here." (The Man With Two Brains - Leah)
- "Boy, it sure would be nice if we had some grenades, don't you think?" (Serenity - RLJ)
- "You want to talk to God? Let's go see him together, I've got nothing better to do." (Raiders of the Lost Ark - A Librarian)
- "A gun rack... a gun rack. I don't even own *a* gun, let alone many guns that would necessitate an entire rack. What am I gonna do... with a gun rack?" (Wayne's World - Karl)
- "I've been thinking about changing my major from Home Economics to Feminist Studies, but I wasn't sure if you had any feminist cooking classes." (Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death - Stephen)
- "That was a hell of a thing." (Galaxy Quest - Patrick)
- "...and that, my liege, is how we know the Earth to be banana shaped." (Monty Python and the Holy Grail - emawkc)
- "I hope my rabbit doesn't eat your salad." (Dirty Love - Leah)
- "Do you like our owl?" (Blade Runner - Kerri Anne)
- "Hey! No force fields!" (The Incredibles - Karl)
- "Look, maybe I didn't say every tiny syllable, no. But basically I said them, yeah." (Army of Darkness - Raven)
- "If you didn't kill him, then who did, sir?"
"Who can say. Best thing for him, really. His therapy was going nowhere." (The Silence of the Lambs - Nuke) - "In nineteen minutes, this area's gonna be a cloud of vapor the size of Nebraska." (Aliens - Patrick)
I don't think I made it particularly easy, but have at it!
I did this one on my AOL blog, so that's the URL I'm leaving; I have more readers there, and they've known me longer. I figured I'd get better response there.

No guesses on any of yours. I truly don't watch a lot of movies, and my brain doesn't hold details very well. I've probably seen some of yours though, and when somebody guesses, I'll say to myself, "Oh yeah, I knew that!"

2 is So I Married an Axe Murderer

#9 = Monty Python and the Holy Grail, which I've only seen about a BRAZILLION times (and it keeps getting funnier).

6. Wayne's World?
12. The Incredibles, I think.

#5 Raiders of the Lost Ark?
Posted by: A Librarian | March 28, 2008 at 10:13 AM
#8: Galaxy Quest
#15: Aliens -- that movie WAS my childhood. Watched it religiously.

These are tough. But I'm pretty sure number 11 is Blade Runner.
(Your #s 1, 2 and 12 are three of my favorites, too.)

Get that cat outta here...Man with Two Brains. Must go find a copy & watch ASAP! That quote IS second to "I can't f**k an ape!"

Great quiz. Number 7 is something about Cannibal Women, I remember enjoying the film.
The film I really liked off this list is The Princess Bride; a real favourite.
